JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The authority office consists of two LSS/SoL caseworkers, one social psychiatry caseworker, and four assistance caseworkers.

The work group is divided into two office areas, both located in Osby. The LSS/SoL and social psychiatry caseworkers have their office within a 5-minute walk from the train/bus station. The assistance caseworkers have their office within a 10-minute walk from the local train/bus station. The authority office has regular joint workplace meetings, and since the work group is small, support for each other and community is highly prioritized.

Working as an LSS/SoL caseworker means receiving applications, investigating needs, making decisions, and following up on existing decisions regarding LSS interventions for children and adults with various disabilities.

The position as an LSS/SoL caseworker also includes handling within social psychiatry, where you receive reports and applications, investigate needs, make decisions, follow up on existing decisions, and guide individuals based on their needs according to the Social Services Act.

In the position as an LSS/SoL caseworker, co-handling with the municipality's child protection officers may also be relevant regarding interventions based on the Social Services Act for children and adults. In the role of caseworker, you have close collaboration with your colleagues. You also collaborate with other caseworkers and other professionals within both the region and the municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker with experience in handling LSS cases.

Experience with documentation in Treserva is an advantage.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, where you should have a professional approach and handle difficult conversations and decisions in a respectful manner.

A valid driver's license is a requirement as travel is included in the position.

A criminal record extract must be presented by the person offered employment.

OTHER

There is an opportunity to combine the job with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on the needs of the operations.
